While not exactly new, I just discovered that Sensei! Kuchisake-onna Desu! exists, a movie that seems to combine two of my loves; Japanese urban legends and delinquents getting into street battles. Honestly a marriage I never thought I’d see. This film came out in Japan last July and can now be seen on Prime/Hulu etc. Not sure of an international release yet.
GAME TO CHECK OUT
Chilla’s Art are apparently throwing their hat into the ring for the Exit 8 genre and have announced Shinkansen 0. As you would imagine, it plays much like Exit 8, but instead of taking place in a station, you’re on the train itself and must look for (and avoid) anomalies. There’s no release date yet, but you can put it on your Steam wishlist!
