J-HORROR MOVIE NEWS

Mina ni Sachi are (“All The Best to Everyone”) came out on January 19, and you can check out both the trailer and roughly four minutes of the film on YouTube right now.

Based on an award-winning horror novel, the film explores the idea that someone’s happiness is built upon another person’s misfortune. It’s directed by Shimotsu Yuta and produced by Shimizu Takashi. Keep an eye out for the eventual English release!

GAME TO CHECK OUT

Disappearance- Takeshi, You Were Right. That Abandoned Village Is Dangerous, while being quite the mouthful for a title, is a new Japanese horror-comedy game coming out on January 28. The catch is that this one doesn’t seem to have an English translation yet, but the game lasts for roughly 30 to 40 minutes with one ending and sees you exploring an abandoned village to find your friend. If that sounds up your alley, then check it out on Steam!

FEATURED ART

This fanart of Kuchisake-onna based on an upcoming J-horror game is gorgeous, so check it out!

That’s all for this week. Until next week, stay safe, and if you come across any news you think I should know about, best place to find me is the Twitter and Discord links above!
