Her Movements Before Disappearing Are Too Suspicious
Note: I have a video on this case that you can view here:
1. The disappearance of the Muroran high school girl, March 6 (Tues), 2001.
Chida Mami-san (16 at the time), a first grader at a high school in Muroran City, Hokkaido, disappeared.
Her movements on the day of her disappearance, March 6 (Tues), 2001.
End of year tests were the day before, so students had the day off.
11:30 a.m., on the phone at home. “I want to go in after 1 p.m., is the owner there?”
12:25 p.m., gets on a bus near her house (Hakuchodai) to go to her part-time job at a bakery.
12:56 p.m., for some reason, she doesn’t get off at the stop near the bakery, and goes to a shopping centre at 1:03 p.m.
1:04 and 1:26 p.m., she’s seen on security cameras at Muroran Saty (now Aeon Muroran).
1:30 p.m. or so, two classmates see her in front of Saty and briefly chat, it’s the last time anyone sees her.
1:31, it’s thought she got on the bus (Higashi-cho 2-chome) heading towards the bakery (Higashidori) as one of three passengers on board.
1:42 p.m., called boyfriend A-kun and told him “I’ve just arrived at Shimo (slang for the shopping/business district). Her PHS reception is recorded near Higashidori bus stop near the bakery (the bus stop is 20 metres from the bakery).
1:46 p.m., speaks to A-kun on the phone again. “I can’t talk right now, I’ll call you back,” and hangs up. *A-kun noted hearing a sound in the background at the time.
After that, there’s no sign of her using her PHS, nor did anybody see her again either. Her PHS has been switched off ever since that evening.

2. Scary.
3 (OP). Crazy, isn’t it?
4. I didn’t read it, but OP is the bad guy.
5. A-kun has to be the one who did it.
6. What the hell is a PHS?
9. >>6 It’s like a cell phone but you can only communicate through numbers.
10. >>9 Something like that actually existed? It’s like talking in code then.
23. >>9 That’s a pager…
11 (OP). >>6 There used to be a phone called a PHS and if you had one of those, they could tell your location through GPS.
12. So A-kun did it, right?
13. This one’s rather unsettling.
14. It’s possible she disappeared of her own free will?
15. I reckon she was kidnapped, used, and then buried.
16. I’m curious as to why she called the bakery.
17.
She looks rather mature for her age.
18. PHS, that takes me back…
19. Wasn’t she going to the bakery at 1:46 p.m.?
20. Wasn’t it North Korea?
21. The bakery is suspicious.
22. That’s why they say not to date while you’re still a minor.
24. That’s right, the bakery is suspicious.
25. Both police and locals though the bakery owner was the most suspicious and they thoroughly investigated him, but they didn’t find anything. And then the bakery went bankrupt.
26. But did they really do a thorough investigation?
27. >>26 They went through everything with a fine comb, but they missed one important thing.
28. >>27 And that is?
29. >>28 A building near where the girl last was. Behind the bakery or something.
30. >>29 Eh… Doesn’t feel like they did a thorough investigation then.
31. It had to be North Korea.
33. When are they gonna give back the people they kidnapped? Enough is enough!
35. It’s almost like they couldn’t see the forest for the trees…
36. The boyfriend is suspicious, right?
37. It must be so tough for parents to have daughters…
