A friend invited me, so I started diving.
I had always been interested, but once I actually started, it was even more interesting than I thought. I took a high-skill technical course, and then visited here and there with some friends I made to go diving.
One day, a few of us were relaxing and watching the fish.
It was about time to go back up, but then I heard a strange sound in the water. It sounded like a dog barking.
I’d heard other divers or boats running before, but never anything like this.
Looking around in disbelief, I saw a human-shaped figure walking around on the ocean floor.
When we got back to the boat, I told the others about it.
I thought we’d all have a laugh about it, but one of the more experienced guys turned pale.
“Don’t go diving again for the next month,” he said.
No matter how much I asked him why, he refused to elaborate.
