Recently I’ve noticed something.

Whenever I get home from work, the light in the neighbour’s room on the second floor turns on.

It’s absolutely not my imagination. Whether I’m home at my usual time, late from overtime, whether I’m back from drinking or shopping, it seems to know and turns on. As soon as I put my key in the door, that light turns on without fail.

It’s not like there’s any real harm in it. It’s just a light through the window. Nothing ever happens. That’s it, that’s all there is to the story.

Yeah, that’s probably all there is to the story.
