Something Terrifying Just Happened
1. I live in an old apartment building. I heard the intercom on the door go off at 6:40 but I ignored it. Then I heard my mother yelling, “Hey! Hey! Get out!” I stuck my head out my bedroom door to see what was going on and there was a disabled person standing by the entrance laughing, like “Ehe… Ehe…”
2. Tell me more.
7. Ask him what he wants.
8. You can see the front door from your bedroom in the apartment? What type of layout does it have?
16 (OP). >>8 We live in a small two bedroom apartment.
I was something I’ve never experienced before so my hands are still shaking, sorry. It was so early in the morning, yet the intercom rang and then when I had a look, someone was laughing at the front door. It honestly scared the crap out of me.
22. >>16 Lock your door then.
27 (OP). >>22 We always lock it, but there are rare cases where you might forget. Maybe he was wandering around waiting for that to happen. By the way, we’re in Osaka City. Everyone, make sure to lock your doors!
32. >>27 Osaka is way too scary.
33. >>27 They’ve finished marking you. Congrats.
10. Is your mother okay?
17. These things happen sometimes. Like the intercom continuing to buzz at 4 a.m., or an old woman’s voice calling out “Dad, open the door” from the shared hall…
23 (OP). So we called the police and just finished talking to them outside the front door. Seems he was walking around pressing everyone’s intercoms. I saw his face, but he was sweating a lot and laughing like “ehe, ehe” so I don’t think he was quite right in the head.
25. OP’s mental weakness is at disabled level.
30. If he saw you through the window next to the front door, he’d be scared because you’re right there in front of him.
41 (OP).
Sorry, I’m not very good at drawing, but this is the layout of our apartment. When he opened the door, he was looking straight at my sleeping mother, so apparently he froze when he realised she was looking back.
BTW, he was screaming “Hey! Hey!!” right before he rang the intercom.
42. >>41 Your mother didn’t pass out?
45 (OP). >>42 No, it was 6:30 in the morning, so she was in bed.
44. >>41 Thank god he didn’t attack your mother, lol.
70. >>41 What the hell is this? The layout of the murder scene?
47 (OP). I was watching anime until 4 a.m. and then I got woken up so strangely. Ugh, I don’t wanna go to work…
49. I didn’t read it properly, but he was inside the apartment? That’s scary.
50. >>49 I thought it was outside too… That’s scary, man.
52 (OP). >>49 Considering society these days, if I wasn’t there, my mother probably would have been killed.
51. A while back a disabled person showed up at my front door too and I called the police. It was late at night so I was scared. I’m in Osaka.
52 (OP). >>51 Seriously? In my case, he walked off somewhere laughing, but what happened to you? Four or five years ago, an elementary school girl in a wheelchair rattled our doorknob really loudly. Why do these things always seem to happen here…
65. That’s gotta be a multi-unit apartment rather than just a regular apartment building, right?
67 (OP). >>65 It’s a seven story apartment building. I live on the fifth floor.
66. If it’s an older building, these sorts of things are very possible.
67 (OP). Really? I’ve lived here for 10 years and it’s the first time this has ever happened. It only lasted less than five minutes and nothing else happened. I just started this thread because I was worked up about it… Everyone, take care. Thanks for reading.
