Akusara

Have you ever heard of Akusara?

Those who know of Kuchisake Onna and others should be afraid of her.

Akusara is over two metres tall with long hair, a red coat and a wide brimmed red hat. Her left arm is covered in scars. She has no eyes and her mouth has been cut from ear to ear. Nobody knows how she came about. It’s said she only appears before men she’s taken a liking to.

The most common stories told about her are that she peeks at people from over the top of a fence. If you’re unlucky enough to meet her you’re highly likely to face a deadly curse.

Does this story remind you of anyone?

That’s right, Hasshaku-sama.

Hasshaku-sama is one of the most well-known and terrifying monsters of the scary story world. At the end of the story the Jizo statues facing the hero’s house are destroyed.

Perhaps… just perhaps…
What if Hasshaku-sama broke free of the area she was trapped in and is traveling around Japan looking for men she likes in a slightly different form…

It’s possible she’ll appear before you too.

I’ll say it again. If Hasshaku-sama and Akusara take a liking to you it’s almost certain… you’ll suffer a deadly curse.

  • I cannot write English sentences, sorry. I am using Google translation.
    I know her a little.
Her name is acrobatic Sara Sara. It’s a messy name, but it’s not self-proclaiming.
Abbreviated pronunciation in Japanese, called Akusara. More than one Akusara has been confirmed.
After the first sightings, reports came from all over Japan.
If you forcibly translate her name, the acrobatic silky hair may be close. Although it is a meaningless name, details are omitted.

  • Thank you too.
It was the threat of “2 Chan” at that time that I saw her legend for the first time.
It is like a Kisaragi station, there is a memory that the talk progressed in the conversation between the users.
In Fukushima prefecture, I heard that it was famous before being spoken in the 2 – channel thread, but I could not find the source.
I felt her attachment other than fear and drew some poor graffiti.
I would like to show that graffiti someday, but I also feel ashamed.
